Due to the terrible weather conditions of late, a number of games and training sessions have been postponed/cancelled, affecting all clubs in the area. Our most recent game, a highly convincing win against local rivals Oakmeadians, saw us cruise to a 69-0 victory, our highest win of the season. A great turnout by players and fans alike which we are very much hoping for again when we host Puddletown this Saturday, 10th March for a 14:00 kick off.
The gap is closing at the top of the table between 2nd placed Puddletown, Salisbury 3's in 3rd and East Dorset in 4th. With 6 games left to play we stand a good chance of finishing 3rd, possibly even 2nd, depending on other teams performance. Let us focus on what we can control - our own performances which will see us finish strong.
We are a much more settled and consistent team since early November when we last played Puddletown, our team having the opportunity to get more game time under their belts and adapt to each other's style of play - which should be evident in our display this Saturday.
We hope to see as many people down the club as possible, as always - your support is greatly received. We will be showing the France V England game after so stick around and enjoy both games!
Look forward to seeing you all there.
